Here is our memory verse for the week.

Why are you frightened? Jesus asked. Why are your hearts filled with doubt.
Luke 24:38

The background of this verse is the resurrection of Jesus and he appearedar to his disciples. The disciples were skeptical They were scared and filled with doubts.

It's nice to know that the disciples had doubts too. I have my fears and doubts. One of my fears is that someone is going to hurt me. The Lord is teaching me to trust in him and rely on his strength. This verse teaches me to go to God and tell him about my fears and doubts. And to Trust in him.

This was in my devotional today. I hope it encourages you.

Whatever your need, God can provide. When you are tired,fearful, or discouraged, God can restore your strength.

Well I titled this blog New Beginnings  because I started a new chapter in my life such as a new place to live and new relationships. But I wasn't sure what to say or write about. So my blog has been empty. Then I stumbled on Proverbs 31 ministry and their online bible studies.. Part of the bible study is blogging. I've never done an online bible study before. So I think New Beginnings is a perfect title for my blog now. I will be sharing from my bible study and whatever comes up.
